Attention Homeschool Parents: We are pleased to announce our NEW, weekly, hands-on science programs, designed for Homeschool students!
Students will experience hands-on science FUN, with lots of COOL take-homes! Supply intensive! Children will become REAL Scientists as we safely discover the world around us and learn to problem solve and conduct FUN experiments! Designed for students 4-12 years old!
Classes will take place on Thursdays when public schools are open, from 1:00-2:15pm. The first session will be on January 18, 2018.
Pricing: $15.00 / class or $50.00 / 4 classes (cash or check only)
Class fee includes admission to Joey's Outback Adventures for students ages 4-11 to bounce after class!

ABOUT OUR CLASSES
- Please call to let us know you are coming **we reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment
- Walk ins are welcome
- Appropriate for ages 4 years and up
- 15 minutes of "Lab Exploration"; 1 hour of science; lots of "cool" take-homes
- Enjoy Joey's Bounce House after science class (4-11 years old)

JANUARY
18th. Scientific Method - Learn how scientists problem solve. Engage in the "Fruit Loop" challenge and make a yummy necklace with the results to eat!
25th. Light Fever - Explore ROY G. BIV. Learn about refraction, reflection, light energy & heat energy. Make an ultraviolet detecting keychain to keep.
FEBRUARY
1st. Rock and Roll - Pan for real gems that we can keep. Study their qualities as we learn to classify them.
8th. Adaptation Station - Explore the world of mammals. discover animal adaptation as we explore mammals that live in extreme climates. Grow "snow" and make a polar habitat to keep!
15th. Earthworks - Explore recycling and the 3-R's. Have a hands-on look at one of nature's most awesome decomposers. Make your own recycled paper.
22nd. Magnet Makers - Learn about attract, repel, magnetic fields, electro magnets and more. Make a magnet to keep.
MARCH
1st. Measurement - Use a variety of measurement tools such as balances and rulers to understand some basics of measurement and take home a cool ruler / bookmark!
8th. Primarily Plants - Explore seeds, dissect a seed, discover photosynthesis and make your own Biome to keep.
15th. Forensic Fun - Let's study our genetic information and build an edible model of DNA to observe the amazing Double Helix. We will study our fingerprints and take home a magnifier.
